GoWow, the Chinese electric motorcycle company based in Shanghai, has announced the expansion of its presence beyond its borders with the opening of a new plant in the European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operating branch, with its headquarters in Munich, Germany.
GoWow aims to create an important space for itself on the international market through the marketing of its models light electric motorcycles Ori and Alpha. The Chinese company has already established a distribution network in Europe, which includes agreements with official distributors in Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal and the Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland).

The models make their debut on the European market, including the Italian models Ori and Alpha. Both bikes are equipped with a removable battery 2,8 kWh (Alpha 2,1 kWh) and a three-year warranty. GoWow also offers a “pure off-road” version with a maximum power of 9kW, a torque of 420Nm and a top speed of 100 km/h. The electric motorcycles of the Chinese brand offer the possibility of extensive customization through custom graphics. In addition, for the Swiss and Dutch markets, GoWow has also developed a version with a speed limit of 25 km/h, allowing it to be used on bicycle paths without a driving license.
